These cable hiders are a really easy way to get your cables in the wall behind your TV, so you don’t have any visible cables.
The kit comes with the right size hole saw and a drill bit, and it was cheap. The main thing to plan for is where your studs are.
Quick take
- No visible cables behind the TV
- Hole saw and drill bit included, sized for the plates
- The opening fits a standard plug
- Cheap for what it does
- The catch: it has to go between the studs, with the top and bottom plates lined up vertically
What I liked
How I set it up
I put one plate at the top, right next to the plugs behind the TV. The cables run down to a second one at the bottom, where my soundbar and other cables go.

It comes with what you need
It came with the right size hole saw and a drill bit, so I didn’t need to go buy anything else.
A standard plug fits through
The opening is about the size of a standard plug, so getting cables through isn’t a fight.
Things to know before you buy
- Stud placement matters. It has to go between studs, and the plates need to be aligned vertically.
- Check what you’re running. The listing describes this kit for low-voltage cables, so check your local electrical code before routing any power cord inside a wall.
What I didn’t cover
I didn’t film the full drilling process step by step, or how it works in plaster or around insulation.
Install notes
Find your studs first, mark the top and bottom openings in a vertical line between them, then cut with the included hole saw.
Specs from the Amazon listing
These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:
- VCELINK in-wall cable management kit
- Fits 4 low-voltage cables
- 4-pack
Who it’s for
Good fit if you: have a wall-mounted TV and want the cables out of sight.
Maybe skip it if you: have a stud right where the TV needs to go.
Bottom line
Cheap, comes with the right tools and leaves a clean wall. Just plan around your studs.
