USX MOUNT Full Motion TV Mount Review: Solid Hold, Mind the Height

65-inch TV on a USX MOUNT full motion wall mount

This is the full motion TV mount I’m using for my 65-inch TV. I use the same bracket in another room with a 75-inch TV.

It swivels, pulls out and pushes back to the wall. The one thing I’d do differently is the height I mounted it at.

Quick take

  • Holds a 65-inch here and a 75-inch in another room with the same bracket
  • Swivels and pulls out, then pushes back toward the wall
  • Super secure mounted into the studs
  • Multiple viewing angles for the room
  • The catch: I mounted the bracket too high the first time and had to lower the TV

What I liked

It moves where I need it

I can swivel the TV in either direction, pull it out and push it back. That gives me multiple viewing angles.

Pulled out from the wall on its arms.

It’s secure

Mounted into the studs, it feels super secure.

Works on bigger TVs too

I have the same bracket in another room holding a 75-inch TV.

Things to know before you buy

  • Plan your height before you drill. I mounted the bracket too high initially, so I made an aluminum bracket to lower the TV.
  • Mount it into the studs. That’s what makes it feel super secure.

What I didn’t cover

I didn’t go through the full install step by step, or test the tilt range on camera.

Install notes

Find your studs and figure out where the TV should sit before you mark the bracket. That’s the mistake I made. For a cleaner look, I also hid my cables in the wall with an in-wall cable hider kit.

Specs from the Amazon listing

These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:

  • Full motion TV wall mount for most 37″-84″ flat screen TVs
  • Swivel or tilt, dual articulating arms
  • For 12″-16″ wood studs, max VESA 600x400mm, 120 lbs load

Who it’s for

Good fit if you: have a big TV and want to angle it toward different parts of the room.

Maybe skip it if you: want the TV flat against the wall and never plan to move it.

Bottom line

It holds both of my big TVs securely and gives me the viewing angles I want. Just measure your height carefully before you mount it.
