This is a cool, modern-looking light I found on Amazon. It’s the Jaycomey circular LED ceiling light, and the detail in the lens is what caught my eye.
It works with a wall dimmer, it mounts like a normal light, and the install was pretty easy. One thing to know: that glass look is actually plastic.

What I liked
The bubble detail
The nice part is you can see the detail of the little bubbles in that glass-looking piece. In the video I have it dimmed down so you can see that detail. It is a lot brighter than that at regular brightness.
Smooth dimming
The really cool thing I liked is that it works with a wall dimmer switch. You can go all the way bright or all the way dark, and it goes seamlessly with the dimmer. Here’s the dimmer switch I linked in my video.
Clean, modern look
It’s a very nice and clean modern look.
Things to know before you buy
- It’s plastic, not glass. The bubble piece looks like glass, but it’s actually made out of plastic.

Install notes
It mounts onto a standard ceiling light mounting, so there’s nothing special you have to do. Overall, the install was pretty easy. Turn off the power at the breaker before you work on any light fixture.
