This is the DISEN 68 piece ratchet set. I’d seen similar ones advertised online, and I thought it was a good idea to get one for any assembly, especially on small stuff like furniture.
It’s a ratchet, a small screwdriver and a case full of bits in one. The one thing to know is that the ratchet comes apart into a few different configurations, and I’ve only used it on furniture and small stuff so far.
Quick take
- Lots of bits: smaller electronic sizes plus more regular sizes
- Extras: an extendable magnet for dropped screws and a magnetic screw mat
- Ratchet with a typical forward and reverse selector
- Turns into a small screwdriver with the end cap for little electronic jobs
- The catch: I’ve only used it on furniture and small stuff so far
What I liked
Bits for electronics and for regular jobs
The kit comes with several different bits. Some are your smaller electronic sizes and the rest are the more regular sizes, so one case covers both small repairs and assembly work.
The pickup magnet and the screw mat
It also comes with an extendable magnet if you drop any screws, and a little magnetic mat where you can organize your screws so they stay put. The ratchet even has a spot that clips it into the case so it stays in place.

A ratchet you can reconfigure
You have your typical ratchet selector between forward and reverse. The end pieces can come off, so you can use the ratchet in a small configuration, or put them on only one side. They’re all magnetic, so they clip in pretty easily. For furniture, which is what I used it for recently, your bits can go into one piece for tight spaces, or into another if you need to be a little further away.
In the configuration it comes in the case, it’s really easy to quickly flip through and tighten your screws.
It turns into a small screwdriver
The other cool thing is that the two end pieces come off and there’s a little end cap. Put the cap on and it can turn relative to the rest of the tool, so you can use it as a small screwdriver instead of just a ratchet. That’s great for small electronic things, while the ratchet handles the larger assembly stuff.
Things to know before you buy
- There are a few configurations. The end pieces come off and can go on one side or both, so it’s worth looking at the video to see each setup.
- I’ve used it on furniture. I haven’t put it through heavy-duty work.
What I didn’t cover
I didn’t go through every bit size, and I didn’t talk about how the bits or the ratchet mechanism hold up over time. If you need a specific bit, check the listing.
Install notes
Nothing to install. Bits clip in magnetically, and you switch between ratchet and small screwdriver by moving the end pieces and adding the end cap, as shown in the video.
Specs from the Amazon listing
These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:
- 68 piece ratcheting screwdriver set
- T-handle
- 42 bits
- S2 steel
Who it’s for
Good fit if you: assemble furniture, do small electronics repairs, and want one case with a ratchet, a small screwdriver and a lot of bits.
Maybe skip it if you: want a heavy-duty driver for big jobs. I’ve only used this one for assembly and small stuff.
Bottom line
The DISEN set made furniture assembly quick, the magnet and screw mat are handy extras, and the end cap turns it into a small screwdriver for electronics. For the small stuff around the house, it’s a good one to have.
