This is a pretty cool little nightstand lamp I got on Amazon. It holds and charges your devices, and it has a touch button for the light.

What I liked

  • Two slots for phones and tablets, and you can stack them
  • Two USB-A ports
  • A two-pin power plug up top with its own on/off switch
  • Touch button with three brightness settings
  • Linen look on the shade
  • Came with its own LED bulb

Things to know

The touch button acted up at first

When I first plugged it in, the touch button was weird. I’d touch it and the light wouldn’t come on, then it would go on and off. After it was plugged in for a while, that went away. I’m not sure what caused it.

Swapping the bulb

If you switch out the bulb, make sure it’s dimmable so you don’t have issues with the three modes. A non-dimmable bulb may flicker or flash.

Specs from the Amazon listing

These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:

  • USB table lamp with 2 AC outlets and 3 USB charging ports
  • Wooden phone stands
  • Linen shade

Bottom line

Overall, it works pretty well. Just give the touch button a little time after you first plug it in.
