This is a radio antenna I got off Amazon about 5 years ago, when I got the truck. I wanted to go through a car wash without the big whippy steel antenna hitting my paint, and I didn’t want the car wash guys screwing and unscrewing it.
What I liked
- Flexible, so it works well in car washes
- No damage. I’ve run it through several times.
- Range is really good. Some people complain about range on the smaller ones, but I’ve had zero problems. All the local stations come in well.
- No quality problems
- About 5 years on the truck
Things to know
After 5 years, it has some slight discoloration. That’s it.
