Conciseer 65-Inch Ceiling Fan Review: Super Quiet, One Catch

Heads up: this post contains affiliate links, and I may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.

I’m honestly obsessed with this ceiling fan. It’s the Conciseer 65-inch ceiling fan with a light and remote that I picked up on Amazon, and after running it, it’s a really good addition to the house. It’s quiet, it’s stable, and the remote handles pretty much everything.

There is one thing you need to know before you buy it, though, especially if your current fan runs off two wall switches. I’ll get to that below. Here’s the quick video so you can see and hear it running:

Quick take

  • Very quiet, even with the speed turned all the way up
  • Remote controls everything: light brightness, light color, fan speed, timers, and direction
  • Runs stable, with no drama at max speed
  • The catch: only one power source, so your wall switch just becomes on/off

What I liked

It’s really quiet, even on max

This was the big one for me. In the video I put it in forward direction and turned the speed all the way up. There are six lights on the fan that show the speed, and when all six are lit, that’s the highest setting. Even at max, the fan itself runs very quiet.

Controlling the Conciseer 65-inch ceiling fan and light with the included remote
Once it’s installed, the remote runs the fan and the light.

The remote does everything

Once it’s installed, everything is controlled through the remote:

  • Light brightness: dim it up or down
  • Light color (the K value): go from a whiter light to a more yellow light
  • Timers: there are different timer options for the fan
  • Direction: the fan runs both forward and reverse

Being able to change the light from white to warm without swapping bulbs is a nice touch, and I like having all of it in one place.

Stable and quiet

It runs stable and quiet, which is really all you want from a ceiling fan you’ll be looking at every day.

Things to know before you buy

There’s only one power source

This is the one real downside, and it’s worth knowing ahead of time. The fan only takes one power source. So if your current fan has one wall switch for the light and a separate one for the fan, this fan will only go on one of those.

In practice, the wall switch just does power on and off, and the remote does the rest. That’s how mine works now. It wasn’t a problem for me, but if you really like having separate wall switches for the fan and the light, you won’t keep that setup with this one. It also means the remote is basically your control for everything, so keep track of it.

What I didn’t cover

To be upfront: my video is a quick look at how it runs and how the remote works. It’s not a long-term durability test, I didn’t measure airflow, and I didn’t walk through the full installation. If any of that changes down the road, I’ll update this post.

Install notes

I didn’t do a full install walkthrough in the video, but here’s what I can tell you. It works fine as a replacement for an existing fan. The one difference is the single power source, so plan for your wall switch to become a simple on/off. If you’re not comfortable doing electrical work yourself, there’s nothing wrong with having an electrician handle it.

Specs from the Amazon listing

These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:

  • 65-inch size, 8 blades
  • 6 speeds, reversible
  • Dimmable light with 6 color temperature (CCT) options
  • DC motor
  • Listed for indoor/outdoor use

Who it’s for

Good fit if you: want a quiet fan for a living room or bedroom, like controlling everything from a remote, and want to adjust how bright and how warm the light is.

Maybe skip it if you: want to keep separate wall switches for the fan and the light, or you don’t want to depend on a remote.

Bottom line

For me, this fan has been a win. It’s quiet even on the highest speed, it runs stable, and the remote gives you a lot of control over both the fan and the light. Just go in knowing it runs on one power source, so your wall switch becomes on/off and the remote does the rest.
