Let’s take a look at a small bathroom trash can. It’s motion activated, it’s rechargeable, and it does something I didn’t expect: it suctions the bag in for a clean fit.

What I liked

  • Motion activated
  • USB-C rechargeable, so you don’t have to worry about switching batteries
  • Bag suction. Open the lid and close it again, and it sucks the bag in so you get a good clean fit.
  • Suction cups underneath to hold it down on a smooth floor
  • Spot for the excess bag. Plastic comes out the side where you loop it.

Battery life

I’ve had it running for about 2 months and I haven’t even had to charge it yet.

Specs from the Amazon listing

These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:

  • 3.5-gallon slim bathroom trash can
  • Automatic bagging
  • Motion sensor
  • White plastic

Bottom line

It works really well for a small space.
