1Mii B03+ TV Bluetooth Transmitter Review: Keep Your Soundbar

I got this little fiber converter that gives you Bluetooth from fiber optic sound. It’s a cool add-on for any TV that has an optical output.

Below is how the optical in/out pass-through lets me keep the soundbar while I listen on Bluetooth, plus the one-ear quirk and the backlit screen.

I bought this transmitter myself.

Quick take

  • 1Mii B03+ optical-to-Bluetooth transmitter for TVs with a fiber optic (Toslink) output
  • Two optical lines — input and output — so you get optical pass-through
  • USB for power, plus regular auxiliary cables on the unit
  • Keeps the soundbar while you listen with Bluetooth
  • The catch: sometimes you may just get sound in one ear versus the other and need to tap play/pause on the headset

What I liked

Optical in, optical out, and USB power

You can see there’s two optical lines — one’s an input, one’s an output — and then USB is the power. It also has regular auxiliary cables. That layout is what makes the pass-through possible.

Soundbar stays connected

What this does is allow me to not only have optical connected to the TV where I can listen with Bluetooth, but because it does an optical pass-through, I still have the soundbar. I don’t have to choose between headphones and the bar.

Easy operation and a backlit screen

The operation is really easy, and it does have a backlit screen to make it easy to use.

Things to know before you buy

  • Sometimes you may just get sound in one ear versus the other, where you may just have to tap on the play/pause on your headset to make it work.
  • This is a connection walkthrough, not a latency lab test or a dual-pair stress test. I show how it’s wired and how it behaves with headphones and the soundbar.

What I didn’t cover

I didn’t measure aptX latency, range, or dual-link pairing on camera, and I didn’t compare it side-by-side with other transmitters. Those kinds of numbers on the listing are listing text only.

Install notes

Power it over USB. Run optical from the TV into the unit’s optical input, and run the optical output onward to your soundbar if you want pass-through. Pair your Bluetooth headset from the unit. If you only get one ear, tap play/pause on the headset.

Specs from the Amazon listing

These come from the Amazon listing title. I didn’t test them myself:

  • Model: 1Mii B03+ (listing)
  • Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter/receiver (listing)
  • Optical / RCA / 3.5mm AUX (listing)
  • aptX Low Latency / HD / Adaptive (listing text — not measured in the video)
  • Dual Link (listing text — not demonstrated as a dual-pair test in the video)
  • Soundbar passthrough via optical out (shown)

Who it’s for

Good fit if you: have a TV with an optical output and want Bluetooth headphones without giving up the soundbar.

Maybe skip it if you: need rock-solid dual-ear audio every time with zero headset quirks, or you were counting on lab numbers for latency that I didn’t measure here.

Bottom line

This little 1Mii fiber converter gives you Bluetooth from your TV’s optical sound. Two optical lines (in and out) plus USB power let me keep optical to the soundbar while I listen with Bluetooth. Operation is really easy and the backlit screen helps. Just know that sometimes you may get sound in one ear and need a play/pause tap on the headset to fix it.
